Datasym is proud to be supplying the new 3Arena in Dublin following its rebrand from O2 Dublin and we would like to wish the newly rebranded venue well under the banner of 3Arena.
The Live Nation-owned arena, which has a 13,500 capacity, hosts over 100 gigs per year and is being renamed following Three’s takeover of O2 last year.
Some of the biggest acts in the world are set to take to the stage of the refurbished venue in the coming months, including Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, Ennio Morricone, Imelda May, The Who and Peter Gabriel.

The firm is hosting an event to celebrate the renaming of the Dublin venue – formerly known as The Point.
3Arena Illuminated will take place from September 10-13 and will see the building lit up by a 3D projection.
For those few days, the projection will gather music fans’ memories on Three’s social media channels and share them.
Datasym’s DPOS SQL POS touchscreen and Stockade SQL back office software has been in operation at the venue since early 2013 with 101 Panasonic based EPOS terminals across the venue covering pie stands, bars and VIP restaurants. 3Arena will also be using Datasym’s iPod based Waiter Pad software in the VIP areas allowing orders to be taken at the table and instantly relayed to the POS terminals and kitchens.
